For the last 100 years, the world of La Riseria Taverne has revolved around rice. This includes heading up its own rice-growing projects in India and Thailand since 2010, where approximately 700 rice farmers grow organic basmati and jasmine rice varieties. Other rice varieties are purchased from across the globe, with core locations in Europe (Italy), North and South America and Asia.
Discerning customers in the retail trade, food services and in the industry demand a reliable, fresh and independent range of products. Riseria produces and packages its own brands and private labels in individual packaging sizes: boxes, bags and cooking bags, sacks and big bags – all fresh, made “just in time” to order.
